A few Q&A with Linae Foster

Q: I heard the MSRP increase doesn't go into effect until September 1st
A: The actual date is 22 September 2006

Q: Does the increase have to do with DBM?
A: No. Market research shows that DBM is currently appropriately priced.

Q: Is it pronounced "Drisst" or "Drizz-it"?
A: Drisst

Q: Is WotC considering a box set?
A: My standard, and truthful, response: I am running P&L analyses on several potential products, inclulding various versions of box sets. If one proves viable we will go forward.

Q: At the seminar it was mentioned that the increase would not happen until Unhallowed? Why the change?
A: Shoe is completely innocent. I am the bad guy here. At the seminar I knew that it was possible the increase would happen before Unhallowed. I was not at liberty to mention it until after the final decision was made.

Q: How will this effect the singles market?
A: WotC does not officially recognize any secondary market for our products. Therefore, I am not in a position to comment.

Q: Will this affect the existing Icons?
A: Icons on the market will stay as is. The upcoming ones may increase/decrease in response to multiple variables.

Q: Is WotC done with huge sets?
A: This is the first I've heard this rumor. We'd be crazy-insane to do away with huges.

Q: Will huge sets contain only huges?
A: I suppose it's possible, but I haven't heard any plans for that model.
