Ian Richards on Epic cards

Why do we get epic cards from the RPGA for current figures? Why can't they just be in the sets?

Ian Richards: As to why cards from the current set? Mainly two reasons.

Firstly we can't do Epics for each piece in the set so we release them through kits as well. Not doing this means we'd not do them period until this set is 12 months old.

That leads me to the next reason. Getting older miniatures can be hard and expensive at times. Making them Epic drives the price up as the figure gets more demand. This isn't easy for newer players with shallow pockets to bare. It is easier to mix these up for those players and expand the Epics for current sets as well as older miniatures.

Hope that helps some.
Ian
