GenCon SoCal reports
You can find various reports from GenCon SoCal in this thread at maximinis:
http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11721
Of note:
Wardrums maps:
* Teleportation Temple or Tower of Teleportation
From Feathers:
Teleportation Temple (might be misremembering the name) has teleportation squares interspersed across the map. When you walk onto a teleport square, you can jump to any other teleportation square on the map. They are spaced far enough apart that a speed 8 or speed 10 beater can basically reach nearly anywhere on the map in one turn. I counted it out and there was no where I could go with either Elminster or the Archmage where the Aspect of Kord could not base me within 1 round unless I stayed huddled in my starting area. Of note: the exit squares are shared between side A and side B and are in the middle of the map.
Other tidbits about the map:
-Teleporting does not in itself cost any movement points.
-It is Epic legal
-Each side has a victory area that is on its side of the map and easily accessibly by incorporeal and burrowing minis with a single move of 4 or less spaces
* Broken Demongate
From Felugund: Half of the map is a holy temple, and the other half is a scarred wasteland. I asked Rob if I could take a picture of the map, but he said no.
Winter Fantasy:
Ian Richards did announce a Winter Fantasy sealed tournament using 2 Archfiend boosters or possibly a Dragoneye and the winner will get a case of Harbinger. A second case will be split for 2,3,4. (from Mook Farchings)
Aspect of Hextor:
#28/60. Epic; 75/260 pts![]()
