Here are my preseason picks:
#5 0 Grimlock Barbarian: for 28pts you get 20 'blindsight' magic damage. No worries about conceal and you can charge that 'hide' enemy. But the low MA attack, means you have to use his killer instinct SA.
#4 - Aspect of Kord, Epic: using his aggression, you could do 150pts of damage on his turn, lookout formorians, fiendish trex's, etc. Plus, blindfight helps overcome those pesky conceals and you can cleave.
#3 - Nentyar Hunter: I cannot wait to build a warband around her CFX. Plus true strike for the first shot and later uses when you need that hit to make a kill.
#2 - Rikka: in the 100pt game, your enemy better not use only one 20hp commander. In the 200pt game, if your enemy relies on a 20hp commander or caster then waylay will put a dent in their strategy.
#1 - Duergar Champion: simliar to the gold champion, but one third the cost. For a lower AC (and no breath wpn), you get conceal6 and cleave (plus the MA and MD).
