Zenako's Price Guide updated

From Zenako:
For all those number geeks out there I finished up and posted the July 2005 guide tonight...all in all not too much has changed except for the general spike in Archfiend values that is well known.

Online prices for sets bought as singles (for what this is worth)

Harbinger: $936.50 down $6.00 from last time
DragonEye: $354.60 up $21.13 from last time
Archfiends: $606.77 up $71.12 from last time!!
Giants of Legend: $542.59 up $19.37 from last time
Aberrations: $306.58 up $6.45 from last time
DeathKnell: $397.80 up $6.88 from last time.

Compare this to recent EBAY complete set price Averages

Harbinger: $446.69
DragonEye: $183.89
Archfiends: $251.70
Giants of Legend: $265.78
Aberrations: $160.16
DeathKnell: $206.78

Interesting how constant the ratio is (except for Archfiends of which very few sets have sold recently and the one that did went for $349 so the set average price is lagging at this point.

Ratio of EBAY set price over Set bought as singles

Harbinger: 47%
DragonEye: 52%
Archfiends: 42%
Giants of Legend: 49%
Aberrations: 52%
DeathKnell: 52%

What this tells me is that if you are trying to estimate a likely selling price of minis (in complete sets), then using a ballpark of 50% of the Price Guide total will be pretty darn close on average to EBAY experiences.
