Gorgonzola/CheezeCon 05 - a tournament with a difference
I received a rather unusual notice from Craig Wyton of an upcoming tournament today. You can find the tournament format/notice here: Gorgonzola at CheezeCon '05Thought you might like to put this up for a laugh. My club holds an annual wargames tournament we call Cheezecon, which is partly a parody of "real" tournaments in that we send them up in a sense. But the main aim was to produce a tournament that the average player could win (ie you don't have to be a rules lawyer or argumentative SoB to prosper).
This year we are including D&D miniatures as one of the games, and have come up with some rules to encourage armies that would not normally be seen at tournaments.
Hope you get a laugh out of it! I'd love to see these style tournaments happening around the world.
(It's worth having a look at ;-)![]()
Other than that, 50 can't be beat.
