Promotional Minis

I know for a fact that a promotional Warforged Hero was on display to a select few at Gencon. I also know that the winners of the D&D Open were to be given copies of "all the miniatures" that saw play, presumably including promos and the monsters they faced.

My team qualified for the semi-finals, but they had to get a sub for me since I was off playing some goofy miniatures game on saturday (wonder what that could be?).

I'm not 100% sure that the Warforged Hero was among these miniatures awarded to the winners (though I heard rumors that it was), but you can bet that if it was, no more than 6-12 were given away.

I can only confirm that there was at least 1 there, but I'm not sure if it was a pre-distribution mock-up (probably similar to what I'll be carrying around with me for my miniature at GenCon next year) or an actual promo piece. It was also close enough to the release that it may have just been one of the early release pieces from the set that were in the hands of the developers.
